After the Oscars, WME agents gathered at the firm’s Beverly Hills HQ to celebrate their award-winning clients — including Best Adapted Screenplay winner Sarah Polley, Best Costumer Ruth Carter and Best Animated Feature director Guillermo del Toro.
Polley, Carter and del Toro attended the gatherings in person, and spies said they got “standing ovations” at the office-wide meetings called by co-chairman Richard Weitz. Carter, who made history as the first black woman to win two Oscars, was joined by her rep, Mira Yong.
