A woman was hospitalized in critical condition Thursday after an accident with a semitruck in Ogden.
Law enforcement officials reported that a semitruck with a flatbed was heading west on 12th Street when it ran a red light at an intersection with on- and off-ramps to I-15 at 11:46 a.m. The semitruck collided with a Toyota Corolla that was turning left onto 12th Street. The impacted caused the Corolla to spin into a Ford Excursion that was also turning left.
The driver of the Corolla, who was the vehicle's only occupant, was transported to the hospital in critical condition and the semitruck driver was transported with minor injuries. The Excursion driver was not injured.
