The 74-year-old woman died from her injuries
A woman who was fighting for her life following a crash in Trafford has died from her injuries. Emergency services were called out to Stretford Road, in Urmston , at around 8.30pm on Thursday, May 23, after a Ford Fiesta collided with a lamppost.
The driver was then taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition following the crash. In an update issued this morning , GMP confirmed that she has since died as a result of her injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no other injuries were reported. Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
