for an unidentified vehicle that struck and killed a woman on Highway 183 early Sunday morning.
About 3:25 a.m., a woman was involved in an accident which “disabled” her vehicle. She had exited her vehicle and was on 183 westbound near the 360 southbound ramp when she was struck and killed by another vehicle, police said.The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office identified the woman as 27-year old Vanessa Jane Amend. According to records, Amend died at the scene.
Witnesses described the unidentified vehicle as a “newer” white Ford Mustang with blue or dark colored racing stripes. No further information was available at this time. Anyone with information should contact detectives at 817-392-4892.
