A woman is recovering after breathing in smoke from a house fire in the West University area Saturday morning, according to officials.
West University firefighters said they found heavy flames coming from a two-story brick home on Oberlin Street and West Point Drive at about 4 a.m. Southside Place Fire Department crews, along with Houston firefighters, assisted in putting out the fire. Firefighters said the woman who lived there was taken to the hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation.SEE ALSO:
