A woman in her 20s has been extradiated by the PSNI to the Republic of Ireland to stand trial for fraud offences,
In a statement issued by the PSNI, a spokesperson said the woman had been "extradited to the Republic of Ireland today, Wednesday 16th August, by officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s International Policing Unit working with An Garda Siochana." They added: "She was sought for extradition to stand trial for fraud offences and for making a false report and statement to Garda."Sergeant Davey from the International Policing Unit said: “This is another example showing our continued determination and commitment to work with International Law Enforcement partners to track down wanted persons and bring offenders to justice.
