Authorities alerted residents that a couple of dogs involved in the attack remain on the loose.
Police told the network that the dogs did not belong to the woman. Four of the animals have since been captured.
"If you spot larger unknown dogs, contact 9-1-1 and they will notify the animal control officer and Sheriff's department. Please be cautious and do not approach," the post warned. The latest figures compiled by DogsBite.org, a database of dangerous dog breeds, showed that in 2019 there were 48 attacks that resulted in human deaths.
