The woman who found the 2-year-old boy who lost both his parents in the deadly Highland Park parade shooting recalls finding the now orphaned child.
Lauren Silva said she was out to breakfast with her boyfriend and his teen son Monday morning when she heard the gunshots.
That's when the couple handed Aiden off to the Ring family, who scooped up the little boy to take him to safety. "Every time I tried to ask him what his name was, the response he gave to me was, 'Mama, Dada come get me soon. Mommy's car come to get me soon,'" Dana Ring recalled in an interview that aired Wednesday on"Good Morning America."A neighbor saw his photo on the neighborhood watch page and helped reunite the toddler with his grandparents.
