However, she's since returned to the platform to confess she was duped by a fake account and says it wasn't Tommy who messaged her at all. She claims to have fell for the messages after being at an event in Manchester with someone who 'could've passed for' Tommy, adding that she was 'really confused'.
Kay added her apparent surprise that people can now 'buy verifications and change their name' on social media.Kay had previously called out Tommy for messaging her, as she said on TikTok; 'I was thinking about whether I should make this video or not, but I am going to,' she said. 'So, me and my friends were out in Manchester and we actually met him one night.
'Basically, we were on a night out with a group of guys and I didn't really put two and two together of who he really was. Her friend then said: 'I am not from the UK so I did not recognise him until we looked at the DM and obviously we were on his page.' Boxer Tommy jetted abroad for a holiday in Ohrid, North Macedonia earlier this year where he reportedly kissed a blonde woman in a nightclub, leading Molly-Mae to announce their split last week after five years together.
