Bingham rallied with a superb 104 break, but the protracted nature of the 21st frame in particular - which lasted over 50 minutes and saw both players take toilet breaks - meant only seven of eight scheduled frames were completed. World number 44 Jones, who defeated Judd Trump in the quarter-finals, is aiming to become the lowest-ranked finalist since Shaun Murphy lifted the trophy in 2005.It was an error-strewn display from Bingham, who at times during this contest has looked a shadow of the player that knocked seven-time champion Ronnie O'Sullivan out in the last eight.
