U.S. Soccer star Christian Pulisic is clear to play in the United States round 16 game against the Netherlands Saturday, the USMNT tweeted Friday.
Pulisic suffered a pelvic contusion Tuesday when he scored the game-winning goal in the United States's crucial 1-0 win against Iran in the team's final group stage.The 24-year-old Pennsylvania native's goal lifted his team into the knockout stage of the 2022 World Cup and set up a date with a reported flu-ridden Dutch team.

Pulisic is looking forward to the opportunity to show Americans at home what this World Cup team can do at the highest level.
