The UK is set to play host to a global first when a Jumanji theme park opens up next year

. Chessington World of Adventures has partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment to present the 'World of Jumanji'.

Guests to the park will be able to relive the movies as they step into this world-first Jumanji theme park with experiences that delve into the adventures undertaken by the characters in the hit films. The land's entrance is set to be a portal to the overgrown Jumanji jungle. Audiences were first introduced to Jumanji in 1995 when a group were transported into the wild world while playing a mysterious board game. The series was resurrected in 2017 with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle when a collection of teens were sucked into the world and transformed into players.
