Kitty Song Covey is ready for her own love story. Netflix released the first trailer for the upcoming ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ spinoff, ‘XO, Kitty,’ also announcing that the 10-episode series premieres on May 18 (WATCH)
In the series, teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.
The trailer shows Kitty pitching to her dad the idea of allowing her to go to a boarding school in Korea — the same boarding school that her mom once attended. It also happens to be the school where her crush Dae, who she met during a trip to Korea with her family, attends currently. “I know when two people are meant for each other,” she says, pointing to a slideshow that starts with a photo of her sister Lara Jean and her boyfriend Peter. She also reminds her dad that she was the one who orchestrated his relationship with their former neighbor, Trina.
She’s applied to the boarding school and gotten the same scholarship that her mom once received.
