Showtime already renewed the series a month ago, and you may not even have to wait a full year for season 2 to arrive

That sounds to me like an idea to have her appear in dream sequences or “ghost” apparitions. I would not be surprised to see her show up to haunt Shauna in some capacity, given how responsible she feels for her death.“I think, as is so often the case for things to take a turn, it happens very slowly and gradually… and then all at once. So I think that we’ll see something sort of similar play out in Season 2.
The cult will no doubt play a huge part in season 2, given that we discovered Lottie is still alive and sending acolytes to kidnap Natalie 20 years later, in addition to being responsible for Travis’ death, it seems. Fans are left guessing whether existing characters like Misty or Taissa already may be working with the cult right now, given their behavior.
So no, you won’t have to wait too long for season 2, as barring another pandemic wave, we should see it before the end of this year. Great news.
