National Parks across the country are slowly beginning to reopen—but with limitations.
Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon will partially reopen to the public in the coming days, and when it comes to coronavirus risks, the parks are “encouraging” but not requiring visitors to wear masks and practice social distancing.Photo credit should read DANIEL SLIM/AFP via Getty ImagesYellowstone will reopen its Wyoming entrances on May 18 while the Grand Canyon will be open from May 15-18 with plans to reopen on Memorial Day weekend as well.
At the Grand Canyon, the park’s South Rim South Entrance will reopen for incoming traffic from 6-10 a.m and visitors should plan to be self-sufficient with enough food and water for their trip because all stores, commercial services and overnight accommodations will be closed.
