Yellowstone prequel starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren is renamed
, with Paramount+ confirming at the same time that the series would take place in the"early 20th century".
Although the network didn't share any character details, Paramount+ said in a statement:"The next story will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.”
The series is set to debut in December 2022 and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.
