Impressive, too, are the ways in which the reinvigorated club and the documentary has brought attention to the city. Tourists from all over the world, invariably sporting Wrexham scarves, appear in the opening scenes of the new series, while the locals have become international stars since appearing in the documentary, including pub owner Wayne Jones. Their new lives involve signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
