FOV sliders in games have a few functions. You can obviously see more on your screen at any given time, hence the “field of view” increase, but for practical gameplay, it at least makes moment to moment gameplayI’ve set mine up to 100 now, where I believe it was 85 at default. Even though you are technically not moving faster, the FOV increase makes it feel like you are.
