Former Love Island star Zara McDermott has broken her silence after snaps emerged of her and boyfriend Sam Thompson in what looked to be a heated exchange
Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson appeared to be in what looked like a heated exchange in photos that emerged after the Soccer Aid afterparty on Sunday, 9 June. However, former Love Island star Zara, 27, has now addressed the snaps, reassuring fans it wasn't what it looked like, but instead, a "passionate" post-match pep talk.
The pair, who have been together since 2019, looked to be having a tense chat in another pic, with Zara visibly waving her arms in the air. She continued: "It looks like we are having an argument but I'm actually telling him positive affirmations in a very passionate manner." This year's match took place at Stamford Bridge on 9 June, with England beating World XI. Over on England's team with Sam were Jill Scott, Jermain Defoe, Joe Cole and Theo Walcott, as well as Bobby Brazier, Danny Dyer, Tom Grennan, Eddie Hearn and Sam Quek.
