The Angels Landing trail at Zion National Park remains closed Monday morning because of damage to the chain on the popular and treacherous climb.

Park staff is working to repair the damage, which was not specified. The chain sections covers steep and dangerous parts of the trail — hikers hang on to prevent falling. At least 13 people have died while hiking the trail since 2000. HEADS UP - There is damage to the Chain section of Angel's Landing trail. It is CLOSED until further notice.
