A witness called 911 on Tuesday at 10:08 a.m., reporting a"car stuck in flood waters," the sheriff's office said in a news release. Rescue teams including two helicopters responded to the incident and searched for the river, but were unsuccessful in finding the vehicle. The effort was called off at nightfall due to dangerous conditions.
