Work to transform the former church hall will begin shortly as the town welcomes its latest food and drink offering.
Plans for a near 100-cover restaurant and bar offering on Prestwick Main Street have been given the go-ahead.
Weeks after the initial application, the proposals for Bute Hall were withdrawn, then resubmitted, because details of the external flue “required to be shown.” An extract from their statement said: “The proposed development will enable a currently vacant existing building to be brought back into use and therefore to become economically viable.
