Much has changed in Merseyside in the last 10 years
In a busy city such as Liverpool the skyline and what the Merseyside region has to offer is forever changing. There are forever new restaurants, shops or buildings popping up that soon become a staple for people to visit and enjoy and make us think about what we ever did before they existed.
In June 2020 the Liverpool Without Walls scheme was introduced by the council to allow businesses to offer al fresco seating and dining options. As a result, locations including Bold Street , Castle Street , Roscoe Street and Lark Lane were effectively pedestrianised in some parts to provide this service. On October 5, 2023, passengers embarked on the first-ever journey from the newly completed Headbolt Lane station towards Liverpool Central.
