A spokesperson for the police said: "Please be aware, Whalley New Road, Blackburn, between the junctions of Whalley Old Road and Plane Tree Road is currently closed due to a police incident. They reported: "A666 Whalley New Road in both directions closed, slow traffic due to police incident from Whalley Old Road to Plane Street."
