This is not a drill, people. Ant and Dec are bringing back Byker Grove - 17 years after it was last on our screens.
The new series will return to screens 17 years after it was last broadcast and is currently in development with Fulwell 73 and Mitre Studio.
Ant and Dec famously played best pals PJ and Duncan in the original series and will serve as executive producers and creative consultants on the reboot. He went on: ‘Already talking characters and storylines has us all buzzing at the possibilities ahead.‘The original series was the starting point for a lot of North East talent so we’re excited to see what the new team will bring.’
