National audience will see San Diego State's Sept. 3 game against Arizona in new 35,000-capacity, $310 million stadium
Snapdragon Stadium’s debut will come with the sun high in the sky before a national audience.San Diego StateIt is the first time SDSU has had a regular-season home game played on an over-the-air network in a national broadcast from the Mission Valley site since the Aztecs hosted BYU on Nov. 24, 1979 at San Diego Stadium.
SDSU officials expect 18,000 season tickets to be sold this season and anticipate sellouts for virtually every home game on the schedule: Arizona, Idaho State , Toledo , Hawaii , UNLV , San Jose State and Air Force .
