He has been jailed and hit with a long driving ban
A banned and drunk motorist who was chased by police through a Nottinghamshire town centre has been jailed. Christian Evans, 33, was seen passing through a red light by a police officer on patrol in Nottingham Road, Mansfield, in the early hours of July 17.
He then ran through another red light before crashing into a BMW at the junction of Atkin Lane and Berry Hill Lane. Evans was found to be almost double the drink-drive limit when he was later tested.Evans, of Robin Hood Avenue, Warsop, was jailed for 15 months at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday, November 9 after being convicted of dangerous driving, driving while above the limit, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and failing to stop.
