BBC Breakfast co-host Luxmy Gopal couldn't stop apologising after making a faux pas during her interview Paralympian Hannah Cockroft on this morning's episode .
Hannah responded with palpable excitement: "Yeah you got my heart beating a little bit when you said that", adding, "Preparations are going really well though, I've had a pretty good year, I became world champion again this year which is a great place to start." Hannah was caught off guard by the question, reports the Express, and replied: "Well I try not to think about it until you bring it up -".
"So I want to do myself proud, I want to do everyone who has supported me over the last three years, over my whole career, proud... It is getting harder every Paralympic Games, more girls are coming in."
