She said most of the projects plan to alleviate congestion and increase capacity at the port. This has been done by building underpasses or overpasses, allowing trains and vehicles to move freely without blocking one another. Bamford explained the port is looking to recoup 90 per cent of the $380 million it has spent and will spend on infrastructure projects.
