There's a sinister type of acceptance when these types of actors are given platforms to share their beliefs often accompanied by light jokes and pop culture references to deflect from their root message: Black women are unworthy — of boundaries, empathy, voice. We saw this message clearly when Mac G asked Ari Lennox about her personal sex life, or when Fresh&Fit minimized Brittany Renner’s entire existence to leeching off men for money.

But these men, they're really just pawns that play a part in a system that's more dangerous and powerful. There's an insatiable desire the public has for consuming Black women, objectifying them for entertainment buzz, and discarding them before anyone notices.
