The trio offered to help the 39-year-old after seeing her 'disorientated and under the effects of alcohol' near the disco in a central Madrid square in the early hours of Thursday morning. But the pretend Good Samaritans, described locally as a Spanish woman and two men of African origin, instead led her to a bench where they stole all her belongings including cash, jewellery and her mobile phone.But the second man is said to have stayed with his victim briefly and sexually assaulted her on the street bench before also running off when he realised he had been spotted by an onlooker.
The trio offered to help the 39-year-old after seeing her 'disorientated and under the effects of alcohol ' near the disco in a central Madrid square in the early hours of Thursday morningPolice are set to interview the woman later today and sift through footage from CCTV cameras in the area for clues.
The ongoing investigation is being led by a specialist women's assistance unit of the National Police called UFAM.
