Organisers of the popular Bookmark festival welcomed a capacity crowd to the Blairgowrie's St Catharine’s Centre on Saturday, August 3, where they enjoyed an entertaining talk with author and event patron Olga Wojtas
There was a fantastic turnout for a recent ‘meet the author’ session hosted by Perthshire ’s volunteer-run Bookmark literary festival.
The session also saw the launch of ticket sales for the main Bookmark festival in October take place. The event also featured a special appearance by ‘Hamish’ – a specially decorated Highland Coo designed to raise awareness of the wider Hairy Highland Coo Trail fundraiser taking place in Perth and Kinross this summer.
“It was another wonderful afternoon that reinforced why Olga is one of our most popular guests here at Bookmark. The main Bookmark festival takes place over October 5 and 6 in Blairgowrie Community Campus and sees 10 events take place over the course of the weekend.
