A murder investigation is underway following a tragic incident that claimed the life of an individual in Catford. The area near Lewisham Town Hall has been cordoned off as officers from the Met Police work to gather evidence and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A police forensics tent erected at the scene A man was shot dead on a busy street in London early this morning, with the killer still at large. Photos from the scene show forensics officers examining the area in Lewisham for evidence shortly after 5am, while a tent was erected to help in the murder probe. Police and paramedics attended the scene on Catford Broadway and found a man, believed to be in his 30s, with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
