Celtic fans have raged at the decision to award Rangers a penalty in their 4-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday .
The Gers were given a penalty midway through the first half of the Scottish Premiership encounter at Ibrox, with Kilmarnock having been 1-0 ahead after James Tavernier’s own goal., Kilmarnock defender Joe Wright was adjudged to have handled the ball on the line. In a double blow for the visitors, a penalty was given to the hosts and Wright was shown a red card for the offence.Rangers captain Tavernier did, however, miss the spot-kick, which was saved by Kilmarnock goalkeeper Will Dennis.
Fabio Silva then levelled for the hosts before half-time, with Ben Davies, Tom Lawrence and John Souttar all netting in the second half to secure the win.But Celtic fans were not happy with the awarding of another penalty for Philippe Clement’s side, even if it was ultimately missed.View Tweet The officials have been playing an absolute blinder but their teammates in blue are fluffing every opportunity
