A new theory has emerged
This morning , it was reported that a body had been found in the search for the missing TV doctor on the Greek island of Symi. Although a formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed the body is that of Dr Mosley, discovered days after he went missing whilst on a walk.
An extensive search was undertaken on Wednesday after the doctor disappeared whilst with his wife, Dr Clare Bailey. In a new update, the island's mayor is suggesting if the body is that of Dr Mosley, he could have met his demise after falling from a 10 metre cliff in to the sea, Yorkshire Live reports.
Rescue teams had been actively searching for the missing doctor since his disappearance on Wednesday, reports Birmingham Live. This include the use of drones and sniffer dogs after it was initially feared he may have fallen whilst walking from a beach to the village of Pedi. Search efforts soon moved towards rugged terrain near a complex of caves called The Abyss. This was after CCTV images were released yesterday, showing the doctor walking past restaurants on the island.
