Coronation Street viewers have seen Lauren Bolton vow to leave Weatherfield in the latest scenes, after Joel Deering's true colours were exposed in a huge showdown.
The future of Coronation Street 's Lauren Bolton on the soap has been hinted at, following the latest episode which suggested she might be exiting the ITV show once again.
As she questioned Joel about flight details and plans to depart, she also warned him of potential exposure if he failed to uphold his part of the agreement. Lauren had just informed DS Swain, under Joel's instruction, that Nathan Curtis was responsible for her assault back in February. She confessed to Swain that Nathan was her attacker and expressed her wish not to press charges. She then paid a visit to Roy Cropper, who had been falsely accused of assaulting her, and apologised for not coming back sooner, reports the Mirror.
She tantalisingly hinted at "lots of things coming up", adding: "It's gonna be very juicy going forward that's all I can say."She also gave a sneak peek into Lauren's future, suggesting there was plenty of drama ahead for the character. She explained: "Trauma changes everyone no matter what sort of trauma it is. Lauren is not the same girl who left. She is a completely different person and people are gonna see a clear change with her coming back.
