Soon after, Billy and Todd's guardianship of Summer Spellman came about in 2017 when Summer's adoptive father Drew Spellman, Billy's ex, asked them in his dying months to take her on. But Todd disappeared in 2018 while Billy remained in Weatherfield with Summer, living at 19a Rosamund Street. Since then, Billy has forgiven Todd and rekindled his relationship with Paul, with the pair marrying in emotional scenes last year after Paul, played by Peter Ash, was heartbreakingly diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a rare condition affecting the brain and nerves that currently doesn't have a cure.
And taking to Instagram on Monday , Daniel shared a picture of himself now, stood alongside the TV showing himself in Emmerdale 20 years ago. He said: "Today Ivan Jones entered #ClassicEmmerdale… I’m now officially running in two amazing shows on @itv Here’s me at 24 and 44…"
