Lucy Fallon has addressed her future on Coronation Street after announcing her second pregnancy, which prompted fans to fear that she may exit the ITV soap for good.
In a video shared to both of their Instagram accounts, the couple are seen playing with their baby son, Sonny Jude, at their home before Lucy is then seen rubbing her baby bump. The actress then shared a close up of her baby's scan as well as holding up her positive pregnancy test.Lucy took an extended break from the cobbles when she welcomed her first child back in February 2023.
Posing on-set in her character's attire, wearing a crop top and black midi skirt, Lucy wrote: "Lots of Corrie related Q's. I won't be away for toooo long and I am returning after I pop the baby out xx.", reports the Mirror. Former Hollyoaks star Calum Lill made waves last year when he joined Coronation Street as the charismatic duty solicitor Joel Deering, quickly becoming a new romantic interest for Dee-Dee Bailey, played by Channique Sterling-Brown. Despite initially charming one of Weatherfield's favourites, viewers were instantly wary of his true motives.
