For France, simply avoiding defeat to Italy would see them top the group. They would also claim first place with two losing bonus points, if Italy also failed to earn a try-bonus point.Should all three of France, Italy and New Zealand finish on 15 points, the All Blacks would finish top of the group on points difference. Italy would then finish second due to their head-to-head win over France.
Soctland need a bonus-point win against Ireland and to deny their opponents getting anything to finish second. A Scotland victory, with both teams receiving a bonus point, would see three teams finish on 15 points and top spot decided by points difference.
