Snow could cause disruption once again across Nottinghamshire
The Met Office has forecast further snow showers for Nottinghamshire as the bitterly cold spell of weather continues. Up to 10cm fell overnight on Monday, November 18 and led to school closures and disruption for commuters on Tuesday, November 19.
The Met Office said snow showers were possible throughout Thursday afternoon before "wintry showers" are expected in the early hours of Friday. They are forecast from 1am until around 8am. Thursday, November 21 night "Evening wintry showers over the Peak District moving southwards overnight. Turning windy and feeling cold, with icy stretches likely where showers have occurred. Minimum temperature -2 °C."
