Crews remain on Moston Lane this evening
Fire crews have descended on a east Manchester street this evening to tackle a building fire at a property.
Three fire engines raced to Moston Lane in Moston just before 8pm on Thursday following reports of a building fire at a property. Pictures show a large emergency services presence as firefighters used hoses to extinguish the flames. Emergency services have been at the scene for over an hour as fire crews work to battle the flames. It is understood that nobody was injured during the incident.In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Just before 8pm this evening , three fire engines from Broughton, Gorton and Chadderton fire station were called to reports of a building fire involving a property on Moston Lane, Manchester.
“Crews arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel, lighting, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
