A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Edwinstowe Station were deployed to the emergency at 8.15am on Monday, August 21
The caller had reported a baby had become locked inside a car. The fire crew arrived at the scene and then gained access to the car where the infant had been trapped.
The baby did not suffer any injuries during the incident, the fire service explained. A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "08.15 Our crew from #EdwinstoweStn06 were mobilised this morning to a baby locked in a car. The crew gained access and the baby was safe and sound #Notjustfires #Firefighters"
