The cafe is painted in a striking bright pink colour and has loads of sweet treats
A new cafe is bringing a “city vibe" to a Nottinghamshire town and so far it’s been a hit with locals. Yums & Bean launched on July 22 in the Handley Arcade in Mansfield town centre.
The cafe is offering breakfast, lunch, desserts, hot drinks, and cold drinks. They have applied for an alcohol license and hope to do bottomless brunch and afternoon tea’s with prosecco. They also do a lot of kids' parties and pancake decorating classes. “When lockdown lifted I started taking that to markets, we did alright but every food trailer or drink had a massive queue and I thought I’m in the wrong business I need to go into food.
A year and a half in from the coffee and crepes van both her trailer and shop are now running side by side. Amy got the keys to the unit three and a half months ago where she turned the property into a ‘city vibe’. “My only goal for it was to bring more of a city vibe to a very dull run-down town and be something that people couldn’t miss and sticks in people's brain - that’s where the pink came from. I wanted it to be super bright but nothing too girly. I didn’t want it to be only females attracted to it that’s why I brought the green into it.
