The L.A.B Scotland visited Dalziel High to run a media workshop
A high school in Motherwell welcomed back a former pupil who shared her media skills knowledge as current students took part in a workshop that was filmed.The BBC Scotland outreach project is designed to develop digital media literacy, and the L.A.B team work with a diverse range of community groups as well as schools, helping them to create their own content.
Former pupil, Kara Gillespie, 18, a deaf content creator and presenter with BBC’s The Social, was back in school to promote the workshop. The Dalziel High pupils chose to create content about mental health and how to look after themselves.
