I-DLE proved they can connect in any situation--and turn the dullest moments into fun ones.
In the accompanying video for their thumping new single"DUMDi DUMDi," the girls are seen in an outdated desert town at a sleepy motel. They all arrive at the motel in different ways and have their own roles in society, but end up coming together and having the time of their lives. "Every night every mind every time every sign / Wherever we go, it's tropical night here / A scorching day strong of wind of scorching night sea / An unforgettable burning night," they sing in the chorus.
A statement at the start of the clip explains the theme perfectly:"When the sun strikes the heart of the desert, the wandering souls come across each other at an outdated motel where human vestiges are barely traceable... There is a special life story behind each soul, and together, they end up spending the most burningly compelling day of their lives."
"DUMDi DUMDi" come just days after I-DLE received a best K-pop nomination for their “Oh my god” music video at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. Watch the new visual below.
