How are you celebrating Valentine's Day? 💌 The GeeUrsulaShow is keeping it simple.
It’s Feb. 14, which means it’s Valentine’s Day. KIRO Newsradio’s Gee Scott and Ursula Reutin Show shared their plans for the day on air.“We have some favorites, and I don’t think that they’re generally that busy on Valentine’s Day, but we did not make a big reservation for some fancy place so we’ll just find someplace,” she said.
“We went to Pike Place Market over the weekend and I was about to buy flowers, and he hinted that I might be getting some,” she added. “So that’s very sweet. And I’ll have something for him — when I say ‘I will,’ I haven’t gotten it yet.”“First of all, that was a subtle flex,” Gee laughed. Ursula says some years she and her husband have planned a trip around Valentine’s Day, but other years she thinks it’s OK to keep it simple — maybe just exchange cards, give each other hugs, and “talk about how much we appreciate each other.”“That’s it,” Gee replied. “And in that I said, ‘PS, there’s a shortage on flowers.'”
