CLEVELAND, Ohio - A motion to dismiss hearing continues in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Tuesday afternoon for the three remaining suspects charged in connection with the kidnapping, torture and murder of Alishah Pointer, 22.
Their jury trial began on March 6 in front of Judge John Russo, but ended in a mistrial. According to the Cuyahoga County prosecutor, a mistrial was granted due to a “communication error.” Nathaniel Poke Jr. pleaded guilty to the charges of involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping and conspiracy. His sentencing date has not been scheduled.Henderson pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping and conspiracy. Williams pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, kidnapping and conspiracy.
