Helen Skelton has been flooded with messages from fans after being subject to a remark branding her daughter 'filthy' while popping into the supermarket. The Morning Live host had another busy weekend on her hands as she made the most of the weather and got her kids out into the great outdoors.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Helen shared a string of snaps showing how she spent the time in the sunny weather. Starting the carousel of images, the Strictly Come Dancing star could be seen enjoying a pink drink as she watched her kids burning off some steam. Captioning the post, the mum-of-three wrote: "Almost ten hours on a sun-soaked sideline and someone in the supermarket pointed out how filthy my youngest was ."
And it didn't take Helen's fans and followers long to respond. @diane_od said: "Whoever said that needs to mind their own business! Happy healthy kids, making great memories. Too much sanitizing and time indoors for many kids these days. Great the lady at the checkout spoke out."
