To this point, the road team has won every game, with the Rangers winning Games 1, 2 and 6 at Houston’s Minute Maid Park and the Astros winning Games 3, 4 and 5 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. “Seems a little odd nobody is winning at home,” Rangers designated hitter Mitch Garver said after Sunday night’s 9-2 win. “And I would like for it to stay that way.”
Meanwhile, Houston is trying to become the first club to win three straight pennants since the New York Yankees took four in a row from 1998-2001. The Astros beat the Phillies – who likely will be this season’s National League representative – in six games last year to win their second title in six years.
