The North Ocean hotel in Blackpool is located right on the seafront and a twin room with a sea view costs just £18 - or £9 per person - and the experience was 'bl**dy brilliant'
And YouTuber Scott from the Wandering Wiganer channel did discover there was a twist to such an incredible deal – but he still dubbed it "bl**dy brilliant".
"It is next door to a couple of building sites, but don't let that put you off," said Scott. He went on to praise the modest but tidy room that boasts conveniently located electric outlets by the bed and, unexpectedly for the price, a contemporary ensuite with a shower. Optimistically, Scott concluded: "You're not going to be having a very good shower, but it's better than nothing."
There were plenty of plus points to outweigh the disappointing shower, though."I've got a clean carpet, the bed looks sort of clean although it does look a bit broken, and I've got a clean bathroom," Scott said.
